Inglenook Inns & Taverns successfully identify distressed sites, with huge potential and commit to a joint investment and future vision. All our refurbished sites skilfully blend traditional features with contemporary touches, stylish fabrics with muted colours. We endeavour to provide pubs for all seasons – with beer terraces for summer and ‘al fresco’ dining and cosy corners with roaring fires for winter. Most importantly, we bring our intrinsic values to all our sites – our pubs are a pivotal part of the community and our great customer service gives us a competitive edge!

Managed Estate

Inglenook Inns & Taverns Ltd operates 11 managed houses in partnership with respected national breweries including Robinsons, Daniel Thwaites, Greene King and Punch Taverns.

Each managed site maintains its own identity and retail offer, aligned to local market requirements, while following consistent operational standards. Core expectations include strong customer service, commercial focus, high-quality environments, compliance assurance and accountable site management. Many sites also demonstrate ongoing investment in interiors, menu development and operational excellence to support performance growth.

We work with trusted suppliers and maintain close links with local markets to ensure relevance and consistency in each location.

Leased and Tenanted Division

Inglenook Inns & Taverns currently have 43 tenanted pubs across the NW of England. They are traditional, community pubs run by a landlord/licensee who rents the pub from us under terms of the Tenancy Agreement. We are constantly seeking enthusiastic and committed people to take on these pubs. Have you ever thought about running your own pub business? If so, we may have the ideal opportunity for you.

Retail Division

Finally, Inglenook Group Operate a 23 strong Retail Division – predominantly wet led community pubs (some with significant food offers) across Yorkshire and the Northwest – these sites operate on our self employed Operator agreement renumerated as a percentage of Net turnover along side a preauthorised Operating Profit & Loss Account.

Inglenook Pub Management (IPM)

Inglenook Pub Management provides specialist site-level operational support across pubs, nightclubs and hotels. IPM delivers strategic operational guidance and interim management, including solutions for distressed or underperforming venues, backed by a proven track record across more than 500 businesses.

IPM is able to assume operational control within 24 hours and has operated in excess of 120 units at any one time. The team brings extensive multi-site operational experience and access to a pre-vetted network of professional operators and managers.

With detailed knowledge of licensing law and best operational practice, IPM is supported by a dedicated head office and accounting function, which delivers real-time performance data. This structure consistently drives improvements in revenue, profitability and asset value across managed, leased, tenanted and third-party sites.

THE INDIVIDUAL TOUCH

Each of our sites have their own appeal – a stop off for the races, roaring fires and cosy corners, a great walking destination – perfect for a quick drink and a catch up on the way home from work, a leisurely lunch, a sharing platter or a relaxing evening meal. Our Sunday lunches are legendary – a perfect occasion for ALL the family to enjoy a traditional roast.

COMMUNITY COUNTS

We are very much involved locally, whether it be fundraising for our local primary school, getting pupils to design our kids menu, or hosting a regular ‘knit & natter’ or book group and providing a free cuppa! Our ‘Trek-Inn’ organized walks are a real hit both for customers and their dogs!

If you work from home, we can provide some space and WIFI and if you desire a little company and perhaps lunch ‘on the hoof’.

FOOD & DRINK

We pride ourselves that we have something for everyone – offering delicious food, a fine range of hand pulled real ales and a carefully selected, value for money wine list… Not forgetting a fabulous range of Premium Spirits and of course Fever Tree tonics – check out the Gin of the Month and what’s coming next! Coffee and cake is a perfect excuse to ‘meet up with the girls’ and have a catch-up – or indeed a treat before school pick up! A couple of our garden terraces are perfect for afternoon tea and girl’s cocktail parties.
